Tey Consulting is owned and run by Ronny Tey, a passionate and effective marketing executive with 20+ years of experience successfully launching and growing software and services businesses that serve customers from SMBs to enterprises.
Before starting his consulting business, Ronny was the General Manager and Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships at OneSaas, an Australia-based integration platform company eventually acquired by Intuit. Prior to that, he was the Head of Marketing at Intuit for the Intuit Partner Platform where he helped build the Intuit small business platform and led the team responsible for growing Intuitʼs developer program and app store business at Apps.com. Prior to Intuit, he was at PayPal where he helped optimize profit margins through marketing and partnerships, and at eBay where he led marketing in launching two new auction marketplaces.
Ronnyʼs passion is building and growing new software and services businesses. He has spoken at several industry conferences, been quoted in publications such as Forbes and Entrepreneur Magazine, collaborated on a Harvard Business School case study on growing multi-sided platform businesses, and been invited as a guest speaker on multiple occasions by the Harvard Business School.
Ronny holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Duke University and an MBA degree from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. He was also selected for the Advanced Leadership Program for Asian-American Executives at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
